It is possible to record video storage devices. We recommend the use of a dedicated and secure Network Video Recorder. You can also engage with video surveillance and remote monitoring solutions on your Smart Phones, iPads, Tablets, etc. Surveillance can also be viewed on our "inTeleCloud" data centers.

Access Control

inTelegent's access control system successfully determines who is allowed to enter or exit, where they are allowed to exit or enter, and when they are allowed to enter or exit. Electronic access control uses computers to solve the limitations of mechanical locks and keys. A wide range of credentials can be used to replace mechanical keys. Protect your business and home with our elite access control solutions.

Safety Systems

inTelegent will design an installation for your fire alarm system that meets your specific needs. We also offer troubleshooting, repairing and upgrades. Our goal is also to provide the most cost effective long-term maintenance services for your fire alarm system.

CCTV systems are often the prime focus of security personnel as they tend to be the eyes and ears monitoring activity throughout the property. New digital technology, such as high-definition and larger digital storage options have changed the way this technology can be used in these monitoring systems. For example, high-definition gives security teams the ability to zoom in on facial details and compare them to the hotel’s past records. This often helps law enforcement with their investigations, in turn, keeping your organization safe and secure.

While an analog camera is ideal if you want to monitor one location from a fixed position, an IP camera is more flexible and can enable more sophisticated surveillance, recording and review. IP cameras can deliver high definition or megapixel images, which give greater detail and can cover a greater range. All the more, they can be powered over a network using Power over Ethernet (PoE) that does not require a separate power supply. Some IP cameras have audio recording built in which allows recorded messages to be broadcast automatically to warn people that they are being watched. However, this functionality can be integrated into any camera’s housing, and is not a specific benefit of IP. Both types of cameras can feature infrared technology to capture full-color images during the day and black-and-white images in low light or even complete darkness.

inTelegent offers the best in class CCTV products, installation and maintenance. CCTV technology is developing  fast, so if you are not informed about up to date equipment, and recent technical advances you will miss out. Digital CCTV

With digital CCTV, a digital camera views the scene in front of the lens and broadcasts the video images as a digitized signal over a LAN line (Local Area Network) where it’s then transmitted to a computer or server. In turn, the server manages all of this information. Depending upon the software used to manage the digital images, it can record, display or retransmit the images to anywhere in the world. Even more, the software package can be upgraded to allow for data analysis such as selecting specific flagged items to monitor, in addition to a host of other functions that truly make it a customizable security tool.

Analog CCTV

This system simply recorded in the moment activity for future access. However, since it does not broadcast actual live information, it is not practical for monitoring from a remote location. Analog technology at one time served a purpose for security monitoring, but now digital CCTV is revolutionizing security measures and technology has evolved to allow for a more diverse security monitoring system.

Hybrid CCTV

inTelegent can add HD CCTV cameras to an existing Analog system it is possible to keep the cameras and record at a much higher resolution. You can also view both Analog and HD Network cameras on the same attached monitor by installing a Hybrid Video recorder. The inputs to the Hybrid recorder are BNC, the same as your existing camera connection signal outputs. The HD network cameras are discovered on the IP network and connect to the Hybrid Video Recorder through the RJ45 port. For more information please contact us.

How it Works

True IP-based digital surveillance uses CCD cameras that employ signal processing with the purpose of sending packetized video streams over the LAN through a Cat 5 cable rather than a coax cable network. This system provides more intelligent data mining and information retrieval. If security is an issue, full digital surveillance offers the added advantage of data encryption opportunities to protect against image tampering; something not possible with analog recording. Recently, a few companies such as D-Link and Linksys have developed fully digital cameras that have completely integrated, built-in web servers so that external computers are no longer required. In this case, the signal is transmitted directly to the terminal location for storage or play-back.

Even if your cameras are 10 years old, inTelegent can successfully improve the recorded images by ‘Upgrading to Digital’. We can now offer full 25 frame per second recording at D1 or WD1 resolution which is equivalent to DVD quality so don’t be encouraged to throw away your existing investments in the race to take advantage of newly available technologies. By simply upgrading your DVR you may increase recording speeds from 1 to 25 frames per second and increase size of the image recorded by 8 times. We can also offer remote viewing from PC or smart-phone and remote alarm notification.

Analog vs Digital CCTV

Analog

IP Based

Easy to use – like a VCR IP-based recording means instant transmittal of images anywhere in the world
Changing and rewinding tapes – humans may interfere with output No decrease in recording quality over time or with repeated replays
Image quality is poor Digital picture quality far superior to analog
Storage tapes wear out over time IP-base recording is highly compressed for easier storage and can be sent over any media
Broadcasting images live isn’t an option Updates and add-ons are relatively inexpensive through software packages and Internet computer networking
Storage is bulky Digital images can be encrypted for security purposes
Uses analog recording, recording in low-grade picture quality Remote or shared viewing may be done over the Internet or a wireless connection
Adding DVR systems must be done in blocks of 16 channels Standard IP video compression techniques are used
IP surveillance cameras may be added individually or in groups according to your needs
Adjustable frame rates

CCT/Surveillance

Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal on set of monitors and now mobile devices. CCTV signal is not openly transmitted; it may employ point to point (P2P), point to multipoint, or mesh wireless links. Almost all video cameras fit this definition, the term is most often applied to those used for surveillance in areas that may need monitoring such as banks, casinos, airports, military installations, and industrial buildings.

Restricted Key Systems

When it comes to commercial security needs, keys are always at the very heart of the matter. How many keys do we require? How do we manage and distribute the keys? Should staff be able to access all areas of the building? What are our security risks? These are all questions that confront business owners, landlords, property managers, body corporates and the like when assessing their keying and security requirements.

What is a Master Key System?
A Master Key System comprises of a hierarchy of keys and a number of cylinders / locks that allow different groups or individual key holders to gain access to all or specifically designated areas of a building or buildings.

Put simply, a master keyed lock is a lock that is designed to be opened by individual keys, but can also be opened by using a master key.

What are the benefits of a Master Key system?
There are many benefits of a master key system, but the overriding one is that access can be controlled, allowing appropriate people access to defined parts of the building.

Other benefits include:

  • A master key system or Restricted System, use security key blanks which are specifically designed keys which can only be obtained / copied only from the Locksmith business which designed the system, and only then with authorization from the Building’s owner or nominee
  • Locks are more secure as the restricted key-way reduces the chance of accidental opening with the wrong key
  • Restricted security key blanks are patent protected (design registered) therefore key manufacturers are not allowed to produce copies of that design
  • Individuals can have access to more doors using only a minimum number of keys
  • A master key system is a dynamic entity and as your business/organization changes, a well-planned master key system should be able to adapt to changing requirements
  • Accurate records of keys and who has them can be easily kept and maintained, eliminating the possibility of duplicate keys being made without authorization.

Card Access Systems

inTelegent’s most popular option in commercial access control (Proximity Card Access Systems. They are easy to use, and when cards are lost, it is a simple step to deactivate them and issue new ones. They can also be combined with photo IDs for additional security. Proximity cards can work from one inch to three feet from a sensor, simply because there is no contact between the card and reader, they are very reliable and suffer little wear and tear. A specialized type of proximity card is the vehicle tag, which allows access to a parking facility without requiring the driver to open their window or get out of the car. Automobile tags can work at hundreds of feet away from a sensor. Security access systems can use magnetic stripe or barcode cards, as well, and these can be a money‐saving option if you already use one of these technologies for employee ID cards.

Biometric Solutions

Biometric technology is increasingly being used to support diverse tasks in the low voltage security industry, offering authentication and controlled access. Typically focused on fingerprints, the constant  drive for improved accuracy while handling higher transaction volumes is creating a trend towards multi-modal biometric solutions, such as those offered by inTelegent.
